What is Language Therapy?
A language therapist uses structured literacy techniques and a multisensory structured language-based program for the remediation of reading disabilities.
Our highly trained therapists provide one-on-one individualized instruction to students up to 3-4 times per week. Each session runs from 45 to 60 minutes. TDS therapists work out of their home offices or travel to schools upon approval from the school administration.
Tolson Dyslexia Services provides Multisensory Structured Language Instruction to students who struggle with reading due to a language-based learning disability such as dyslexia.
We serve individuals in preschool through adulthood in the northeast Ohio area including Cleveland, Akron, and Canton.
What our clients say...
I would like you to know how much I appreciate everything you have done and thank you so much for helping Angeline exceed in life. She is doing awesome in pronouncing words with a breeze. It takes no effort or does she even think about it. It just flows out of her. Angeline spends her time correcting me! The rules are “clicking” in her mind with ease. It is truly amazing. You definitely have a gift. There are no words to describe how I feel as a parent. I am so overwhelmed with gratitude.
– Angela K, Mother
Your kindness will always shine on J.T. for he gained confidence through your teachings, a profound appreciation for hard work, and a love of reading from your gifts of time and wisdom. JT would be nowhere near where he is today without your extensive knowledge and expertise with dyslexic children. We are so very grateful.
– Bryan, Tracy, and J.T.
Thank you so much for being such an important part in Katie’s life. The skills you have taught her will be with us forever. She really admires you and hopefully her dreams will come true and she will help other kids – just like you have helped her.
